Limited lesson spots available!
Over the past 20 years of music lessons, recitals were THE most anticipated event by both students and parents! Recitals are scheduled twice a year. They are not required, but strongly encouraged.
After the initial nerves of your first recital, most students count down the months and days until the next one! After doing dozens of recitals at some amazing venues, Amy is confident you will leave the recital in great anticipation of the next one!
Over the years, Amy has had many students who were anxious and nervous about performing in front of a crowd. At each recital, each student is given two separate opportunities to go on stage and perform. In most cases, students are much less nervous on the second time on stage. Amy is NEVER looking for perfection on stage, but always wants her students to try their best and have fun!
For piano students, Amy will give the option to perform a piano duet with the student for one of their pieces. For voice students, Amy will give the option for the student to have background harmony vocals during the chorus.
A full band will perform as accompaniment for students. This makes it much more like a concert and puts students at ease…. as well as feel like a rock star!
Amy is currently in contact with staff from Century 2, The Crown Uptown Theatre and The Orpheum Theatre about reserving one of the three venues for the first recital in early Spring.
There is a small, one-time $65 recital fee due 4 weeks prior to each recital. This fee helps to cover venue rental, lighting and sound engineers, backstage crew, musicians, programs, facility insurance and FREE ADMISSION to the recital for your student, your family and friends.
As soon as a date and venue is confirmed, information will be communicated with students, as well as posted on the website.
