Amy and her husband, Curtis moved to Kansas in 2017 with their three children. Born and raised in Tennessee, Amy grew up right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. where her love and passion for music started at a very early age. Amy has been singing, playing the piano and writing songs for over 35 years. For the past 20 years, she has taught private piano and voice lessons to over 300 students and has an extensive musical resume.
In the early 2000's, Amy toured as an international recording artist alongside Grammy Award Winning Artists.
She was a featured American Music Artist at the Barbados Gospel Festival in the Caribbean and had the privilege of being the guest speaker at the Primary Girl's School that the artist 'Rhianna' attended.
Two of her original songs are featured on a Dove Nominated Film.
In 2015, she founded and directed a National Award Winning Showchoir. This was the first high school homeschool show choir to ever win a national title - People's Choice Award.
The voice of Mother Rabbit, Amy was a voice over actor for a Chinese ESL cartoon series.
Amy has been a judge for music and songwriting competitions across Middle Tennessee.
Amy received training under the late Renee Grant-Williams Studio in Nashville Tennessee - vocal / breathing coach to Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aquilera, Martina McBride, the Tennessee Titans football team and many more!
Amy was named 1st Chair second soprano for the State of Tennessee All State Choir (out of thousands of students) her senior year of high school. During her freshman-junior years, she placed in the top three every year.
Amy had the privilege of performing in New York City and Disney World with her National Award-Winning Show Choir during her high school years.
Amy has a heart for teaching students piano and voice. Whether it is a student who has absolutely no musical experience, or a seasoned veteran, Amy has a unique teaching style that caters to each individual learner. Amy has been privileged and blessed to see some of her students pursue successful careers in the music industry, but she is just as overjoyed to see students learn to love music for a lifetime, even if its just for themselves.
